Warranty Policy

1. Introduction and Statutory Rights

At Garvee, we stand behind the quality of our products. We want you to shop with confidence, knowing that we are here to support you if things don't go as planned.

Important Legal Note:
Our commercial warranty (described below) is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under UK law, you have the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described.

2. The Garvee 12-Month Commercial Warranty

In addition to your statutory rights, Garvee offers a 12-Month Limited Warranty for defects in material or workmanship on all products purchased directly from Garvee.co.uk.

  • Warranty Period: 12 months from the date of delivery.
  • Eligibility: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
What is Covered?

This warranty covers defects that arise under normal use and proper care, including:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials (e.g., structural metal fatigue, faulty welds).
  • Workmanship errors causing the product to fail.
  • Malfunctions that occur despite correct usage in accordance with the product manual.
What is NOT Covered?

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear: Cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, or natural fading of materials over time.
  • Misuse or Neglect: Damage resulting from improper storage, loading beyond capacity, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
  • Accidents: Impact damage, drops, or exposure to extreme weather conditions (unless the product is explicitly rated for such conditions).
  • Unauthorised Modifications: Repairs or alterations performed by anyone other than Garvee or an authorised service provider.
  • Consumables: Items expected to wear out over time (e.g., batteries, bulbs, tires) unless failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

3. Specific Accessory Guarantee

As an additional benefit, we offer a Free Accessory Replacement service. If any small parts or accessories are missing or arrive defective, please notify us within 30 days of delivery, and we will ship replacements to you free of charge.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a defect covered by this warranty, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us
Email our customer service team at support@garvee.co.uk with the subject line "Warranty Claim - [Order Number]".

Step 2: Provide Evidence
Please include:

  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • Clear photos or videos showing the defect.
  • Your original order number or proof of purchase.

Step 3: Assessment and Solution
Our technical team will review your claim within 2-3 business days. If the claim is validated, we will offer one of the following solutions at our discretion:

  • Repair: We will provide instructions or parts to fix the issue.
  • Replace: We will send a replacement unit or the specific defective component.
  • Refund: In cases where a repair or replacement is not possible, we may offer a partial or full refund based on the usage time.

Step 4: Returns (If Required)
If the product needs to be returned for inspection or repair, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label (for valid claims within the UK). Please do not return items to the original sender address on the package without our authorisation, as this may delay your claim.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

However, nothing in this policy excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

6. Governing Law

These warranty terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
