The Garvee beehive arrives flat-packed with everything you need. The precision-milled dovetail joints fit together snugly (a rubber mallet is recommended for assembly), creating a rigid structure without the need for complex tools. The included frames slide in effortlessly, allowing you to set up your colony in record time.

- Natural durability. Crafted from high-quality Fir wood. This timber is renowned for its tight grain and resistance to warping. It provides a robust shell that protects the delicate honeycomb structure inside from the elements.
- Weatherproof shield. The entire hive box is dipped in boiling beeswax. This process penetrates deep into the wood fibres, creating a superior moisture barrier compared to paint. It ensures the hive won't absorb water during rainy spells.
- High capacity. This is a 10-Frame Langstroth design. It offers ample space for a strong brood pattern and honey storage. Please note this is compatible with Langstroth accessories (not National), the most widely used system globally.
- Structural integrity. The corners utilize classic dovetail joinery. This interlocking design provides the maximum surface area for glue or nails, preventing the box from racking or coming apart under the weight of heavy honey.
